Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants / Companions to support elderly and disabled clients in their homes across Beverly, Ipswich, Gloucester, Rockport, Essex and surrounding areas.

No experience is required; training will be provided. Positions offer flexible, self-determined schedules based on client availability and we seek compassionate, reliable caregivers to join our team.

Qualifications

• Training available upon hire.
• Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed.
• Performing general cleaning duties.
• Assisting with eating.
• Assist with shopping errands.
• Medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home.
• Shopping for groceries and household supplies.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms.
• Emptying and replacing trash containers.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies.
