Job summary
Blue Valley High School is seeking a Performing Arts Instructor (Band, Vocal Music or Orchestra) to support instrumental music instruction and performances. Under licensed supervision, you will assist in rehearsals, prepare soloists or ensembles for performances, supervise sectional rehearsals, and help prepare groups for school events, festivals, clinics, parades, etc.
Knowledge of instrumental music techniques and the ability to read notation are required, with discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Assist in instruction, rehearsals and performances of instrumental music students.
- Prepare soloists or ensembles for performances; supervise sectional rehearsals.
- Read and interpret music notation; maintain confidentiality of student information.
