Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse with a flexible schedule to join the Nursing Administration team in LAN. The role requires SC RN licensure, BLS, and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends or nights, plus two holidays per year.

Shifts and Tier options (Tier III: $47/hr, Tier IV: $50/hr) offer per diem scheduling with care areas in Med Surg or Telemetry.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Commit to work 4–12 hour shifts per 6 week schedule (Tier III) or 5–12 hour shifts per 6 week schedule (Tier IV).
• Work in Med Surg or Telemetry.
• Must work at least one weekend or night shift per 6-week schedule.
• Work two holidays per year (major and minor).
• Per Diem hours are scheduled as needed after full/part-time staff; not guaranteed.
