Eyes On Eyecare is seeking a dedicated Optometrist for per diem or part-time engagement at private practice subleases in Sharon, MA and West Springfield, MA.

You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose common eye conditions, and document findings in EMR/EHR systems while educating patients on eye health and treatments. Flexible scheduling supports experienced clinicians seeking balance.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an Optometrist in Massachusetts.
• Proven experience in ophthalmology or general optometry.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Knowledge of optometry medical coding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and ocular health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common eye conditions (glaucoma, cataracts, macular issues).
• Document encounters accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment options.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security.
• Collaborate with optical staff on eyewear and sales when needed.
