Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia seeks experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital assignments in Virginia. Must have active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of ER experience. Shifts include day, evening, and night hours with coordination from our staffing team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Flex scheduling ability to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other staff.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care events.
• Complete assessments and proper documentation.
• Perform RN duties within facility requirements.
