Job summary

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) in Northern California is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist for a supplemental (per diem), outpatient clinic position in Sacramento and/or Roseville. The role offers a flexible 1–2 day per week schedule with compensation based on wRVU production and no on-call duties.

The position focuses on urgent endocrine needs, including diabetes management, urgent consults, and time-sensitive endocrine issues, with a patient-centered, episodic care approach

Qualifications

• Board eligible or Board certified in Endocrinology.
• Experience in outpatient endocrinology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide endocrine care in an outpatient setting with timely access for urgent endocrine needs.
• Evaluate and stabilize patients during visits.
• Provide up to one follow-up visit if necessary and transition care back to the patient’s established endocrinology provider.
• No call responsibilities and no independent patient panel; manage in-basket during clinic days.
