Job summary

CareGivers Home Care is hiring Personal Care Aides to support VA home care clients in Herkimer County, NY. The role requires certification as PCA, HHA or CNA, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to drive between client locations. Shifts are 2–4 hours per client with potential travel to 3–4 clients per day.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to drive clients to appointments and run errands if needed.
• Must meet health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients and help them feel clean and refreshed.
• Assist with meals and light cooking, tidying client homes and monitoring medication schedules.
