Visiting Angels - Evansville, IN is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support elderly clients in their homes across the Evansville area, including Chandler and surrounding communities. The role focuses on personal care, companionship, and enabling clients to stay safely at home.

Responsibilities include helping with hygiene, light housekeeping, mobility support, and medication reminders. A HS diploma, reliable transportation, and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits required.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Encourage and assist with activities to meet fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with shopping or running errands as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients where possible.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients to appointments or walks.
