Job summary

Floor Coverings International of North Seattle & Seattle Shoreline is seeking a dependable, energetic person to assist with warehouse operations, deliveries, and day-to-day business needs in the Seattle area. This flexible part-time role offers exposure to purchasing, inventory, logistics, sales, customer service, and project management beyond warehouse work.

Compensation is $25/hour, with approximately 10–20 hours per week and weekday daytime availability.

Qualifications

• Dependable and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle.
• Able to safely lift and move flooring materials and other heavy items, up to 75lbs.
• Organized and able to work independently.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with customers, installers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and prepare flooring materials for upcoming projects.
• Pick up materials from local flooring distributors.
• Deliver flooring and supplies to customer job sites throughout the Seattle area.
• Load and unload flooring, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain an organized warehouse.
• Help manage inventory, samples, and incoming deliveries.
• Assist with occasional showroom and general business needs.
• Help solve day-to-day challenges of running a growing business.
