Qualifications

At least 1 year of security experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Guard card or license preferred.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of municipal buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas.
Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting security incidents and patrols.
Assist with traffic, pedestrian, and event-related support at government facilities and public locations.
