Job summary

Strongsville City Schools is hiring Professional Substitute Bus Drivers for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role offers flexible hours and holidays off, with training provided by certified On Board Instructors. Starting pay is $20.66 per hour.

Applicants must have a valid CDL Class B, school bus and passenger endorsements, and pass a physical, drug screen, and FBI/BCI background check. Selected applicants will join the transportation team and complete required paperwork, including

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License - Class B required.
• School Bus and Passenger endorsements required.
• Airbrake endorsement and Pre-Service certification preferred (not required).
• Must pass ODE regulated physical exam and drug screening.
• FBI/BCI fingerprint background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for students.
• Be available for the 2026-2027 school year.
• Complete required paperwork and background checks.
