Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Observation in Salt Lake City, UT. This role offers fixed shifts with options to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform and earn more.

Pay rate is $19.10 per hour with a schedule on Saturdays 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM. Great for supplemental income and potential progression within a leading security and facility services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, subject to background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, yards, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and traffic of visitors, drivers, and employees.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual activity in required reports.
