Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Riverside, CA. The role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, personnel, and packages as directed, helping to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly flow of operations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting security‑related observations and incidents.
