Job summary

Illinois Central School Bus in Tolono, IL is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to join a community-focused team. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with more for experienced drivers, and CDL training is provided. Flexible hours, sign-on bonus up to $2,000, paid holidays, 401(k), and life insurance are offered. Responsibilities include transporting students safely, following regulations, assisting with boarding, and attending safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• DOT drug test, background check and physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school (Unit 7 School District).
• Operate vehicles safely, following regulations and company procedures.
• Ensure the safety of all students.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed.
