Job summary

Jethro Health System in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled home health visits to patients in their homes. This per-visit role is part-time, offering independent work, flexible scheduling, and one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, wound care, and education, with driving to patient homes required. Massachusetts RN license, 1 year of RN experience preferred, and proficiency with EMR systems are

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing.
Minimum 1 year RN experience (home health preferred).
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes per physician orders and care plans.
Perform comprehensive assessments, vital signs, and skilled nursing interventions.
Administer medications, wound care, injections, and treatments.
Educate patients and caregivers on medications, disease processes, and safety.
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition.
Complete accurate, timely documentation for each visit.
Communicate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Follow all home health regulations and agency policies.
