Circana is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores and perform in-store barcode scanning across grocery, drug, and mass retailers. The role offers flexibility with 4–9 hours per week per store, plus 1–2 hours for special projects, and occasional travel compensation.

The position emphasizes reliability and independent work in a dynamic retail environment. Daily tasks include using a mobile app to scan products, collecting data, and meeting weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Perform repetitive movements with hands and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in store locations.
• Provide the quantity for about 45% of the products scanned each week.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store; this occurs weekly and can take several hours.
• Custom Projects may add 1–2 hours per store in certain weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines with dependable, quality-driven work.
