Staples Milpitas is seeking Sales Associates to help customers find products, offer solutions, and process returns or online pickups in a fast-paced, team-oriented store.

This flexible part-time role offers paid time off, weekly pay, associate discounts, a 401(k) match, and career growth opportunities. Training is provided and interviews may be scheduled in person soon. Staples does not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule required based on store needs.
• Must be able to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk.
• Retail customer service or cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Multitask on cashier, sales, and merchandising responsibilities.
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.
• Create a positive, inviting environment for customers.
• Understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions.
• Handle returns and online pick-ups.
• Be flexible on responsibilities (e.g., cleaning, stocking shelves, other duties as assigned).
