Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Plano, TX. This flexible role provides reliable hours with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

You will perform security procedures, patrol areas, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain activity logs at an aerospace/defense site, ensuring a safe environment for personnel and visitors.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, visitor interactions, and other security-related events.
