Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a clinic-based setting in Burkeville, VA.

This role focuses on senior patients within a structured outpatient clinic, with on-site scheduling and a team-based environment.

Schedule: 2 weekdays per month, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM; Compensation: $900 per visit; Independent Contractor (1099). No nights or weekends; we handle scheduling and billing to support high-quality vision care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia optometry license.
• Experience treating senior populations preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
