Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program with ARRT-NM or NMTCB certification/registration.
• Maryland Radiologic Technologist license.
• BLS certification; additional life support training as unit requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and move equipment; able to stand for shifts.
• Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine studies under the direction of a radiologist.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety precautions.
• Identify patient care needs and adjust procedures to meet the population served.
• Collaborate in a team environment and perform duties beyond a single modality as assigned.
• Report to and be evaluated by the Nuclear Medicine Coordinator.
