Job summary

Nanny By Design is seeking experienced caregivers to provide flexible, part-time childcare across the Triangle area, including Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding communities. This role focuses on backup, fill-in, and short-term care with schedules that vary by family needs.

Ideal candidates are dependable, with at least 3 years of professional childcare experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Triangle region.
• Comfortable working with different families, schedules, and childcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and dependable childcare for local families.
• Step in for backup and fill-in childcare needs.
• Follow each family's established routines and instructions.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities.
• Travel to family and assignment locations throughout the Triangle.
