Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care of West Houston is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers for flexible part-time shifts in the West Houston area. Join our team to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive office team. Mileage reimbursement is provided for qualifying client transportation, with opportunities for additional hours as they become available.
Qualifications
- Caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal).
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one).
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Escort clients to appointments and errands as needed.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
