Job summary

Magnolia Gardens is seeking a part-time Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to join our team under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will help maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents by performing assigned duties and following facility procedures.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, corridors, restrooms, supply restocks, and assisting with laundry while ensuring safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sit for extended periods, stand and walk for long durations; assist with lifting up to 65 pounds and pushing up to 80 pounds.
• Flexible availability and ability to work part-time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complies with attendance policy requiring regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas to meet health standards
• Cleans resident rooms according to schedule and facility procedures
• Cleans other areas of the facility as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
• Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment
• Maintains storage areas and carts clean and organized
• Lifts and assists in laundry as needed
• Attends in-service trainings as assigned
• Other duties as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Administrator
