Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, operates the corporate fitness center in Armonk, NY, and seeks a flexible, as-needed Fitness Floor Attendant to support members, supervise the floor, monitor equipment and maintain safety and cleanliness.

You must be 18+, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and have CPR/AED & First Aid certifications. Prior fitness or customer service experience is preferred; basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are helpful; lift up to 40 lb.

• Prior fitness and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests at front desk and input data into membership system.
• Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and stocked.
• Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.
