Job summary

University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a part-time Event Staff for Baxter Arena to support guests during live events, concerts, and athletic games. Roles include ushers, ticket takers, concierges, and general event support.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for Crowd Control.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services (Ushers, Ticket Takers, & Concierges): Provide top-notch customer service by greeting guests, scanning and checking tickets at standard and premium seating areas, issuing wristbands, and helping guests locate their seats.
• Crowd Control: Secure areas, manage metal detectors and bag checks, guard the stage, oversee crowd movements, and protect facility property.
• General Duties: Learn Baxter Arena layout, provide directions, assist with cleanup, report maintenance issues, and perform other duties as assigned.
