Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have experience applying techniques in teaching plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Familiarity with facility routines and general safety practices.
Ability to follow established policies and procedures and to observe and report behavior.

Responsibilities

Attend to physical and emotional needs of people served.
Make effective decisions in emergencies.
Lead people in assigned tasks.
Provide academic guidance to individuals served.
Carry out procedures of teaching or treatment plans.
Observe and report individuals’ behavior and responses to treatment.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff and persons served.
Provide work direction to staff to assist people with developmental disabilities.
Prepare routine reports.
