Job summary

Alora Supports is seeking a caring Direct Support Professional to provide support to kids in their home and in the community in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a part-time role with weekend coverage between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, offering flexible hours and the possibility to split shifts.

Responsibilities include transporting kids to school, meal prep, assisting with feeding and personal hygiene, engaging in activities, administering medications, and detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• Medication Aide certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• MANDT certification is required.
• Alora Supports will provide and fully pay for required training.

Responsibilities

• Transporting kids to and from school.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding.
• Cleaning up after meals.
• Engaging kids in activities.
• Administering medications.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, toileting, and changing briefs.
• Maintaining detailed documentation, including the family's staff log and required Waiver paperwork.
