Ridgewood Senior Living at Historic Smithville in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Server to support dining services in an assisted living environment. You will serve meals and beverages, assist residents during meals, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as an Assisted Living Server or Dietary Aide, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a patient, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assisted Living Server or Dietary Aide preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special diets common in assisted living settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient approach when assisting elderly or disabled residents.
• Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist residents with dining, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Follow dietary guidelines and special meal instructions provided by dietary staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and serving stations.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal delivery.
• Report any resident concerns or dietary issues to the appropriate staff.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
