Job summary

Affordable Care, LLC is seeking a part-time Dental Laboratory Locum Technician to provide hands-on denture fabrication support in a practice laboratory. The role is temporary/locum and designed for a skilled dental lab professional seeking flexible work opportunities.

The ideal candidate will fabricate full and partial dentures, wax, process, finish, repair, and relines as needed. Schedule is determined by the Laboratory Operations Manager with flexible availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician or similar.
• Hands-on experience with dental prosthetic fabrication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Adaptable to changing assignments and priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating full and partial dentures.
• Setting denture teeth and completing denture wax-ups.
• Denture processing and finishing.
• Denture repairs and relines.
• Pouring and trimming denture models.
• Polishing dentures and removable prosthetics.
• Supporting various stages of dental laboratory case production.
• Following OSHA protocols and safety practices.
• Cross-training in other laboratory areas as needed.
