Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for part-time, PRN, and weekend positions. Coverage needs include 3 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM shifts in Durham, NC. New CNAs are welcome to apply, with emphasis on reliable attendance and flexible scheduling.

As a CNA, you will perform daily resident care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support licensed staff. Join a team that values dignity, safety, and quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in North Carolina.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts.
• Availability for evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts is highly valued.
• New CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in resident condition.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks, treatments, and procedures.
• Document care provided and observations accurately and timely.
• Communicate concerns or changes in condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
