Job summary

Compass is seeking a part-time Childcare Provider to care for children at our physical church locations. The role offers flexible, on-demand scheduling for events such as Women’s Bible Study and other gatherings.

Providers must be comfortable in a church setting, engage children with activities, and adhere to childcare policies. Responsibilities include creating a safe environment, communicating availability for events, and supporting childcare needs with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a Church environment and aligned with Compass beliefs.
• Able to multitask, stay organized and manage multiple children during events.
• Engage children with crafts, games, and age-appropriate activities.
• Dependable, able to sign up for scheduled church events and communicate availability.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or sit on the floor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and loving environment where children learn about God’s love.
• Adhere to Compass Childcare Policies and Procedures.
• Interact with children through play, crafts, and lessons during events.
• Communicate availability for upcoming childcare needs.
• Support childcare during church events and activities as scheduled.
