Guidepost Montessori is seeking a flexible on-call Substitute Teacher to support mixed-age classrooms (0–6) when full-time teachers are out. Orientation includes training; no formal Montessori credentials required.

This role offers part-time, flexible hours with opportunities to transition to full-time Assistant Teacher; you’ll collaborate with staff to maintain a calm, nurturing learning environment for young children.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Friendly, dependable demeanor with a passion for working with young children.
• Background checks and TB test requirements in place.
• No formal Montessori training required; training provided during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care.
