Job summary

Geeks On Site is hiring an On-Call IT Field Technician to support residential and small business customers. The role focuses on computer troubleshooting, networking, printer setup, and on-site IT services.

You will manage tasks based on availability and location, with flexible scheduling and a 1099 contract. Responsibilities include Windows/macOS troubleshooting, WiFi/network fixes, printer configuration, and occasional POS or TV mounting work.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
