Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected Texas law firm to hire an experienced Of Counsel Attorney - Probate to support its Texas practice in Austin. This flexible Of Counsel role suits attorneys with Texas probate, estate administration, guardianship, or conservatorship experience who want to take on probate matters referred by a multi-state firm.

Qualifications

Active Texas probate experience and knowledge of estate administration, guardianship, and conservatorship.
Familiarity with Texas probate court procedures and filings.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, courts, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Handle Texas probate and estate administration matters.
Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
Draft and review probate pleadings, petitions, motions, notices, and related filings.
Attend hearings, status conferences, and other court appearances as needed.
Guide clients through the probate process, timelines, required documents, and next steps.
Provide local Texas court knowledge and procedural guidance.
