Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification.
• Current NY State NP license is required.
• Current NY State RN license is required.
• Collaborative practice agreement or attestation as per NY laws.

Responsibilities

• Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
• Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up.
• Performs daily patient rounds and documents orders for medications and tests.
• Interprets labs and test results; communicates with care team.
• Notes discharge summaries and post-discharge care instructions.
