Job summary

A community support organization is seeking compassionate individuals in North Carolina to provide companionship and assistance to older adults. Join the team to make meaningful connections while enjoying a flexible schedule. No prior experience is necessary, as all services are non-medical. Responsibilities include providing transportation to appointments, engaging in conversation, assisting with light daily tasks, and accompanying Members on errands. Candidates must be 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Must complete a background check.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. needed.
• Access to a reliable vehicle (model year 2009 or newer).

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to Members' appointments.
• Engage in non-medical companionship activities.
• Assist with light daily tasks in Members’ homes.
• Accompany Members on errands such as grocery runs.
