Job summary

Community Care Physicians seeks a skilled Part Time/Per Diem MRI or CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in Latham, NY. You will operate MRI/CT equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety, and work on an as-needed basis to meet imaging demands.

Requirements include ARRT-certified MRI/CT technologist with injection certification, an Associate’s degree or equivalent, and valid state licensure. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Registered MRI or CT technologist with injection certification.
• Associate's degree or equivalent (AMA-approved).
• Valid state licensure as MRI/CT or radiologic technologist.
• ARRT certification active or in progress.
• Ability to work weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI/CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and obtain medical histories; explain procedures.
• Position patients for optimal imaging and comfort.
• Follow safety protocols and screen for contraindications.
• Adjust machine settings based on exam requirements.
• Monitor image quality and correct artifacts.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and monitor patients.
• Document procedures, interactions, and incidents.
• Collaborate with radiologists to review findings.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform QA tests and complete CEUs; CPR certified.
