Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Flex Mobile Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA to join our team and protect client sites across healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. Work 30–40 hours weekly with a flexible, self-scheduling Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program; shifts and locations change regularly to fit client needs.

You will build experience across diverse environments and have opportunities for advancement. Pay rate is $21.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Available for varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Able to travel distances for Branch Flex assignments.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law; willing to undergo drug screening.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; driving positions require license.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for unusual conditions creating security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Monitor entrances and exits for authorized access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
