Job summary
MediPro Direct is seeking experienced mobile phlebotomists to perform life insurance medical exams at applicants' homes or other locations. This is an independent contractor, per diem opportunity with flexible scheduling and assignment volume based on client needs.
You must have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, certification, and ability to travel within your coverage area; pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
- Reliable blood-draw skills and accuracy.
- Certification in phlebotomy or Medical Assistant.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient with basic computer and smartphone use.
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
- Ability to review orders and document findings promptly.
Responsibilities
- Travel to applicants' homes, workplaces, or other locations to complete life insurance medical exams.
- Obtain medical history, blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and other biometric measurements.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood and urine specimens.
- Package specimens for shipment to laboratories.
- Complete required insurance exam forms accurately and thoroughly.
- Submit documentation upon assignment completion.
- Review orders and case requirements to ensure accuracy.
