Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing seeks Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in Oroville, CA. Earn $36.00–$39.00 per hour with flexible scheduling, multiple assignment types (per diem, block schedule, contract, temp-to-hire and direct-hire), and online CEU training.

The role collaborates with RNs, CNAs and care teams to provide high-quality patient care in diverse facilities. Candidates must hold an active CA LVN license, have 6+ months nursing experience, and pass standard pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in CA
• One year nursing experience preferred, minimum of six months nursing experience required
• Ability to pass a pre-hire physical, TB test, background check and drug screen
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities under RN supervision
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to deliver patient care
• Take patient vitals, perform assessments, document progress and report changes to RN supervisor
• Administer medications, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment
