Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem roles offer flexible scheduling and per-shift pay.

We provide competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, with same-day or next-day pay options via RapidPay Card and a hiring bonus after completing 2 shifts. Local staffing coordinators are available 5 AM-11:30 PM to support you.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD test within last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collect and document patient information
• Provide wound care and patient education
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs
