Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Per Diem team serving the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling with same-day or next-day pay options.

The position requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR. Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the role and complete the required PPD within the last year.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD (tuberculin) within the last year.
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
