Job summary

The Rit Inn & Conference Center, a premier hotel managed by Gunther & Associates, LLC, seeks a housekeeping/laundry associate in Rochester, NY. Open availability is required and previous housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred to ensure clean linens and efficient hotel operation.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, folding linens, stocking carts, and assisting guests with requests. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth within a busy hotel

Qualifications

• Open availability required to cover shifts.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to hotel guests and co-workers.
• Sort soiled linen and terry, load/unload washers and dryers, fold clean linen.
• Separate stained linen for power packing to maintain quality.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets per hotel standards.
• Operate washers and dryers and manage chemicals accurately.
• Clean dryer lint traps and washer filters.
• Stock all housekeeping carts/closets with clean linen daily.
• Ensure towels are available in fitness center and pool area.
