Job summary

The Hong Kong Study Skills Research Institute is seeking experienced and dedicated tutors to work with students in grades K–8 across various subjects. The ideal candidates should have a passion for education and be able to customize teaching approaches to each student’s needs.

Responsibilities include providing one-on-one academic support in subjects such as Math, English, and Reading, maintaining communication with families, and submitting reports on student progress. Join our supportive local team and make a real difference in students’ lives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to students’ homes.
• Some virtual sessions may also be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic support in subjects such as Math, English/Language Arts, Reading, and Study Skills for grades K-8.
• Maintain regular communication with families and the Tutor Doctor team regarding student progress.
• Submit session notes and reports in a timely manner.

Skills

Strong subject matter knowledge in K–8 academic areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to customize teaching approaches

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education or related field preferred)
