Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join our fast-paced, growing team. You will clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to our procedures, and help maintain a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Starting pay is $13.00 per hour. Shifts include 2C, 2A, and 2A, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth in a dynamic facility-services company.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Stand and walk for 10-12 hours.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions (English; may include Spanish where required).
• Use the KBSPresence timekeeping app on a mobile device for clocking in/out.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning according to procedures and building schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, pick up debris, mop floors, and clean spills on the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrors; polish stainless surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms for customers and staff.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
