Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited school.
• Idaho Pharmacist license or eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate prescribed therapies for appropriateness.
• Interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, nurses, and staff.
• Document interventions and perform clinical pharmacy services.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as appropriate.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, externs, and support staff.
• Maintain records on medication therapy, charges, inventory, and medical records.
• Support Meds-to-Beds and transitions of care to improve outcomes.
• Assist with training and education of pharmacy staff.
• Mentor students and new practitioners.
