Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring an In-Store Shopper to prepare and fulfill customer orders for delivery or pickup. You’ll shop across the store for produce, meat, dairy, and more, with a focus on accuracy and timely service. Weekend availability, nights, and holidays are valued to meet busy periods.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes customer experience, product knowledge, and efficient operation. Training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities for cross-training within the E-Commerce

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop customer orders.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
