Job summary

Right at Home Belmont & South Charlotte is seeking Caregivers (including PCAs & CNA's) to join our in-home care team. We have immediate part-time positions available to elevate clients' lives while helping them stay in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and following care plans provided by a nurse. Prior caregiving experience preferred; English proficiency and a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver performs personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, ambulation and transfers.
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions and accompanies client to appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Administers medication reminders and assists with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Assists with cognitive care and dementia support as taught by a Right at Home Nurse.
