Job summary
The Comforted Kitty in Provo, UT is seeking a reliable part-time cat sitter to provide in-home visits while clients are away. You set your availability and we match you with local cat families, offering meaningful, independent work caring for cats and giving peace of mind to pet parents.
Responsibilities include feeding, litter box care, playtime, and sending updates and photos through our app. Weekend, holiday, morning, afternoon, and evening visits are especially valuable, with pay typically
Qualifications
- Experienced with cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written communication.
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes.
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera.
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids).
- Holiday & weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home cat sitting visits as scheduled.
- Feed cats and refresh water.
- Clean litter boxes.
- Give playtime, affection, or companionship based on each cat’s personality.
- Send visit updates and photos through our app.
- Follow each client’s detailed care instructions.
- Bring in mail or packages if requested.
- Adjust lights, blinds, or trash/recycling when requested.
- Administer medication when within your experience and comfort level.
