Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers, HHAs and CNAs for in-home care. You’ll match with clients based on experience, personality and availability to create meaningful one-on-one relationships.

Starting pay is $17+/hr with flexible PRN, part-time and full-time opportunities. Expect paid mileage, overtime opportunities, referral bonuses and a supportive scheduling team to help you grow with consistent client needs.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA license OR HHA certificate.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and dependable attitude.
• Dementia or hands-on care experience preferred but not required for all cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized in-home care to keep clients safe and independent.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Remind about medications and manage reminders.
• Transport to appointments or errands when needed.
• Monitor safety and changes in condition.
• Accurate documentation and communication with the office team.
